Lorna is the Primary Care Development Manager for North Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership. She has been working in the Partnership since 2016 and one of her highlights has been the evolution of the fledgling “Community Connector pilot” into the well-established Community Link Worker service in North Ayrshire today.
They have 12 Community Link Workers aligned to the 19 GP surgeries in the area, offering social prescribing opportunities to anyone over the age of 16 years.
