Alison is the Community Link Worker Area Lead for North Edinburgh, part of the Edinburgh CLW Network. The network is a partnership between EVOC and the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership. She has been employed by the network since 2017. The network is part of the Scottish Government national CLW programme which focuses on health inequalities. They also have CLWs based in practices funded by the Primary Care Improvement Plan which focus on a demographic chosen by the practice. They currently have 20 CLWs covering 36 practices, employed by 11 third sectors organisations.
